Recently, I went in search of a shower filter/softner to protect my tresses and skin. Where I live, there is harsh hard water and after so many years -- I was noticing it on my hair and my skin. I had heard that converting your shower head helped enormously with my dilemma, so... I went out in search of it. I found it at Home Depot. Im sure you can probably also find it at any hardware store. The installation was extremely easy, even a 10 year old can do it. :) I then attached my shower head to the filter, which I decided to splurge on, as well.  The filter was about $18.00 and the shower head (Moen) was $27.00, but oh, so worth it. I had no idea how the right shower head made all the difference in the world, especially with the water pressure. Now when I shower, I am confident that my filter is removing awful contaminants such as; Chlorine, mildew, etc., which can be so harmful to your health, as well. Changing your filter every six months is recommended.

I recently made a really cool purchase at Ulta. I've always taken pretty good care of my facial skin, but have somewhat neglected the overall care of my body skin. Until now, that is. I picked up their Ginger Sugar Scrub, which I use everyday! It's meant to be used a couple of times a week, but I love it so much -- that I have to use it everyday. In addition, I use their Lemon Sugar Body Lotion every moment that I can.
